Description

The lightning shock counter, developed and created by Sunlight, is very useful for monitoring and counteracting voltage jumps or lightning strikes in the power supply system, providing first-hand information about whether the installation has been damaged by a lightning strike or requires subsequent inspection or additional maintenance. The Sunlight lightning shock counter complies with the American standard (UL1449/CSA C22.2 NO.269.5-17), the European standard (IEC62561-6/EN662561-6), and the Chinese standard (GB/T 33588.6-2020).

The Sunlight lightning strike counter counts the peak current and stores data on the counter whenever an instantaneous voltage jump or induced current from a lightning strike enters the line, tracks the number of voltage jumps and lightning strikes on the line in real time, thus providing reference data to ensure line safety.

The product uses a contactless design and a standard 35mm guide installation, utilizing a high-quality meter with stable and reliable operation, and its sensitivity can be adjusted. The minimum induction current (8/20uS) of conventional products is 500A, while the maximum induction current (10/350uS) is 100kA, which meets the technical requirements of world safety regulations.
